Banzai! Damn the torpedoes! Once more unto the breach lads! (NaNo Day 30)

I cracked 47K yesterday. It was good.

I followed my own lesson learned and I wrote another 1644 words this morning before doing anything else. Now I’m 931 words away from goal.

Time to put the pedal to the metal people!

I usually take November 30th as a day off, or if I can, I try to have the final week of NaNoWriMo as a holiday but that was impossible this year as I’m out of vacation days and out of sick days. Still. I’m going ok. I was behind but I love pouring it on the final week. This year, I worked to make sure it wasn’t an impossible goal though (in 2007 I remember starting the final week at 28K and pushing to finish early, my first over 10K day).

Anyhoo. If you’re behind, now’s not the time to stop. You have til midnight. Type as much as you can!

I’m lucky, right now I’m in a thrilling point in my story and I just can’t stop. If I wasn’t at work right now, I’d have those 900 words down likety split and more besides.
